Selena Soo is a business strategist + publicity coach. Her greatest passion is helping visionary leaders, experts, and authors reach larger audiences and make their biggest impact.
Selena has spent close to 10 years cultivating relationships with business leaders and influencers. Her network in the media world includes Editor-in-Chiefs, writers, producers, and marketing executives with experience at brands such as Fortune, Forbes, Entrepreneur, O, The Oprah Magazine, Glamour, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Reader’s Digest, Whole Living, Fitness, More, Seventeen, People, NBCU, and ABC News. She also has strong relationships with numerous influential bloggers in the personal and professional development space (small business, career, education, and self-help).
Selena began her career as a PR consultant at Avon, a beauty company dedicated to empowering women worldwide. At 85 Broads, she worked with Wall Street trailblazer Janet Hanson, formerly of Goldman Sachs, helping her build a global network of now 30,000 women.
At Step Up Women’s Network, a national membership organization of 50,000 women with roots in the entertainment industry, Selena wore many hats. As a leader in the New York office, she was responsible for developing and executing strategy to exponentially grow the local office’s membership base, producing events (i.e. “The Mentors Walk” with NBCU, CEO panels, and celebrity fundraisers), and collaborating with over 100 national and local brands through events, product sampling opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
Most recently Selena worked with Claudia Chan, former President of Shecky’s Media, to launch her personal brand and women’s lifestyle media company.
Selena received her B.A. from Columbia University and her MBA from NYU Stern.
